In order to achieve the rank of Genin, Naruto is assigned to Team 7 along with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. It soon becomes obvious that Naruto likes Sakura but strongly dislikes Sasuke, while Sakura is in love with Sasuke but dislikes Naruto. Sakuke on the hand pays attention to neither of them.
