Naruto Episode 10 - The Forest of Chakra

After some resting and recovery at Tazuna’s house, Kakashi explains the inconsistencies he notices about the hunter-nin’s actions and concludes that Zabuzza isn’t deat yet. The hunter-nin turns out to be a boy named Haku who is under Zabuzz’s wing. Kakashi continues Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura’s traing in order to prepare them for their next fight. He teaches them how to climb a tree without using hands.

Naruto Episode 09 - Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!

The fight between Kakashi and Zabuzza starts again. Kakashi gets the upper hand in the fight by using his Sharingan to copy Zabuzza’s techniques and manages to defeat him. But before Kakashi finishes him, he is apparently killed by a masked Kirigakure hunter-nin and his body is taken away. Then, because of using so much chakra, Kakashi collapses.

Naruto Episode 08 - The Oath of Pain

Zabuzza catches Kakashi off guard and and captures him in a prison of water. Kakashi insists that the others should run, but Naruo and Sasuke work together and try to free Kakashi. By using Naruto’s transformation techniques and Sasuke’s shurikenjutsu, they force Zabuzza into releasing the water prison to save himself from their attack.

Naruto Episode 07 - The Assassin of the Mist!

After the attack, the group question Tazuna about the nature of the mission and he admits that the mission is a lot more dangerous that originally stated. But when Tazuna explains that the brigde he is going to build to connect the Land of Waves to the mainland will save his people from the criminal Gato, Team 7 decide to continue with the mission regardless of how dangerous it is. They are soon faced by Zabuzza Momochi, the Assasin of the Mistan, who is an enemy strong enough for Kakashi to use his Sharingan eye.

Naruto Episode 06 - A Danerous Mission! Journey to the Land of Waves!

After completing some low rank missions, Team 7 is assigned to escort Tazuna to his home in the Land of Waves. They are ambushed by two enemy ninja and Naruto is terrified. However, Sakura does better in protecting Tazuna while Sasuke handles the attacker pretty well, taunting Naruto at the same time.

Naruto Episode 05 - You Failed! Kakashi’s Final Decision

Kakashi defeats Sasuke, even though his performance is a lot better than Naruto’s. Then Kakashi traps Sakura in a genjutsu while she is trying to win points with sasuke. Meanwhile, Naruto decides to get his hands on the two lunches but he Kakashi catches him. After being lectured by Kakashi about their lack of teamwork, Sasuke and Sakura get their lunches but they are warned not feed Naruto who is tied to the pole. But Sakura, and then Sasuke, try to feed him, and they are caught by Kakashi who congratulates them for passing the test. He explains that that was the whole point of the test; it is more important to protect and care for your friends than to follow the rules.

Naruto Episode 04 - Pass or Fail: Survival Test

Team 7 meet their team leader, Kakashi Hatake, who is a Jonin. He handles the Genin qualification tests. Kakashi easily defeats Naruto’s unplanned head-on attack, and Sasuke steps in to fight Kakashi.

In order to achieve the rank of Genin, Naruto is assigned to Team 7 along with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. It soon becomes obvious that Naruto likes Sakura but strongly dislikes Sasuke, while Sakura is in love with Sasuke but dislikes Naruto. Sakuke on the hand pays attention to neither of them.

It’s Naruto Uzumaki’s third year to fail to graduate from the Ninja Academy. One of the instructors from the Academy, Mizuki, tells him to steal a scroll with a special technique. Iruka Umino finds out about Mizuki’s scheme and protects Naruto from him. Naruto learns the special technique from the scroll and uses it to defeat Mizuki which convinces Iruka to allow him to graudate.
